Recycling Program

The Town of Teulon offers a blue bag curbside recycling program to its residents.  On the weekly garbage pickup schedule, residents can place an unlimited amount of blue bag recycling at their curb.  Recycling does not have to be sorted or washed - however, all containers should be emptied and should be free of food residue as it can contaminate the entire bag.  Please do not leave paper recycling loose in blue bins, or the wind could pick it up.  If you are unsure of what can be recycled, please click on the link below for the Recycling Guide provided from Multi-Material Stewardship Manitoba.

Recycling is also accepted at the Teulon-Rockwood Waste Disposal Grounds located at SE 30-16-2E, 6066E Road 94N.

The Waste Disposal Grounds accepts leftover paint, domestic pesticides, flammable liquids, gasoline and even light bulbs.  Visit ReGeneration.ca for more information.

Other recycling initiatives are offered through the Rockwood Environmental Action Community Taskforce (REACT).  REACT is a voluntary, non-profit, non-government association of individuals committed to environmental responsibility.  For more information on their recycling programs and initiatives, please visit their website at www.reactinc.org.
